Original antique illustration by the notable Art Nouveau painter and printmaker Theophile-Alexandre Steinlen (1859-1923) titled La Fille Aux Rouliers, par Rene Maizeroy / The Girl with the Drivers, by Rene Maizeroy, depicting a lady standing at the head of the table with three gentlemen sitting down with their drinks. The image is trimmed from the front page of Journal Gil Blas N. 43 from 22 October 1893. Gil Blas was a Parisian literary periodical founded by the sculptor Augustin-Alexandre Dumont in November 1879. Fair condition, creasing, tears, staining, paper losses, backed on thick card.
