Advertising Poster Children Of Oriental Lands The Sioux. Original vintage poster featuring an illustrative collage style panel by the American artist Mildred Lyon Hetherington (1892-1984) depicting a camp of Sioux Indians with the chief of the tribe wearing a feather headdress and traditional clothing, sitting on a rug in front of tepee tents on the left side, with children on the other side and a man painting on an animal skin stretched between trees next to more skins drying in the centre. Published by the Beckley-Cardy Company. One of a series of panels illustrated by various artists entitled Children of Oriental Lands. Printed in the U.S.A. Horizontal. Fair condition, folds, small tears and paper losses in margins, small holes in corners, with the colour parts of the poster glued onto the background.
