Propaganda Poster 12 April Cosmonaut Space Day USSR. Original vintage Soviet space propaganda poster for the annual Cosmonauts Day celebration of the first man in space (on 12 April 1961), the pilot and cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin (Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin; 1934-1968), featuring a colourful illustration of a smiling cosmonaut / astronaut in shades of red wearing a spacesuit in front of stars and planets in shades of blue and purple, the title text on a red flag above - 12 ?????? ???? ????????????. Cosmonautics Day has been celebrated annually in the Soviet Union and Russia since 1962 and internationally since 2011 as the International Day of Human Space Flight. Excellent condition. Country of issue: Russia, designer: V. Feklyaev, size (cm): 55x43, year of printing: 1984.
