Original vintage motor racing poster published to celebrate the new world record achieved by Count Stanislas Czaikowski of Poland on the Avus race track in Berlin on 5 May 1933 in his 4.9 Bugatti car sponsored by Castrol oil. Dynamic illustration in shades of green, black and white featuring a Bugatti driving at speed below a stylised clock with the land record speed of 213.842 km shining from the II and III roman numerals, the text diagonally above and below with the Castrol logo. Art Deco style design by Jean Pillod. Printed in Paris by P. Fournie and Co. Very good condition, folds and minor tears on margins.
