London Underground Poster Waterways LT Little Venice Boat Canal. Vintage official reproduction of a travel poster by London Transport for Little Venice, featuring a great illustration of an ornate red and brown boat under a bridge, the text below reads - The Waterway's traditional gaudy-gay decoration is fast vanishing, but you can still escape to this quiet, withdrawn world - to the Grand Union Canal, idyllic and sylvan in Cassiobury Park, Watford; to the River Lee, slow-mowing under the broad Hertfordshire sky, trimly business-like at Broxbourne, Sawbridgeworth, Hoddesdon. But for a duck's eye view go to the Little Venice, Paddington, and then by narrow boat to the Zoo, or (on Saturday evenings only) out to Greenford. Underground to Warwick Avenue for Little Venice. A reproduction of a poster designed for London Transport by John Finnie in 1965. Very good condition, minor creasing, small tears.
