This remarkable and graphically strong poster shows the most famous resident of Tongeren, namely the imposing bronze statue of Eburonenkoning Ambiorix from 1866 on the Tongeren Grote Markt, which honors the memorable victory over the Romans in 54 BC. Caesar the Belgians the bravest of all Gauls. Ambiorix poses in Germanic costume, with a battle ax and a dragon helmet. The icon is set in a pop art style of bold purple and olive green tones.
