Original vintage National Savings poster - The British Heritage of Craftsmanship - English Pottery and Porcelain 1650-1959 - Design features an illustration of The Queens Vase surrounded by other examples of notable pieces of pottery from British History. The Queens Vase was made for Queen Elizabeth II coronation by the British Pottery Manufacturers Federation and was designed by John W Wadsworth. Below the Vase are modern examples of fine china made by the firms who were responsible for the production of the Queens Vase. The poster was produced in cooperation with the Victoria and Albert Museum, the British Pottery Manufacturers Federation and the College of Art, Stoke on Trent.
