Advertising Poster Art Deco Le Peuple Belgium Newspaper. Original vintage Art deco advertising poster for a French language daily newspaper Le Peuple published in Brussels Belgium. The poster features an stylised illustration of a giant man dressed in red above orange city buildings with windows, rooftops and chimneys He is holding up a paper with stylised text reading Lisez Le Peuple - Read The People - all against blue background. Le Peuple was founded in 1885 and served as the central organ of the Belgian Labour Party, with Socialist political alignment that switched to Right-wing in 2010. In 2013 the newspaper launched an online version. Horizontal.
