Advertising Poster Set Berliner Illustrierte Zeppelin Eve Lotte Lorring Furst Bulow. Set of 10 original vintage advertising posters for German magazine Berliner Illustrierte Zeitung / Berlin illustrated, a German weekly illustrated magazine that was published in Berlin from 1892 to 1945. Each poster features a design of the cover of the issue that came out that week. 1. New Years Eve features smiling German stage and film actress and operetta singer Lotte Lorring (1893-1939) toasting with a glass of bubbly champagne with a red and green tinsel background; 2. Photograph of a young lady, caption reads - From the content: from the difficult time in the occupied area to the liberation on June 30th. Kaplan Fahsel: 14 days in Konnersreuth; 3. Painting by Ferrari depicting Bernhard von Bulow (1849-1929), a German statesman, foreign minister, and chancellor of the German Empire; 4. Artwork by Josef Danilowatz depicting theatre goers, ladies averting their gaze in scare and gentlemen with surprised facial expressions observing the aerialist's triple somersault jump; 5. Photograph captioned - After landing in Japan: Dr. Eckener smokes his first long-lost cigar at the Kasumigaura airfield. - Hugo Eckener (1868-1954) was the commander of Graf Zeppelin, hydrogen-filled rigid airship that flew from 1928-1937; 6. Artwork by Josef Danilowatz depicting theatre goers, ladies averting their gaze in scare and gentlemen with surprised facial expressions observing the aerialist's triple somersault jump; 7. photograph of soldiers and a nurse carrying a lady that felt unwell, caption below reads - The Samaritans. Scene from big city street life. From a newspaper report: "... In the crowd numerous women fainted, who were carried out and refreshed by the paramedics."; 8. photograph of two children, a boy dressed in a sailors costume, reading a book with their grandmother, caption reads - The poetess with her grandchildren. The sound controller sits high up in the sound film studio, the walls of which are lined with many layers of wool, behind five layers of thick glass plates. The director down in the studio first rehearses the scene, and only after the approval of the sound controller, who checks the vocal effect over the phone, does the recording take place.
