Sport Poster Formula 1 Lotus 49 F1 Graham Hill STP Fuel. Original vintage advertising poster for STP race fuel featuring great artwork by Yves Thos (b. 1935) depicting the notable British racing driver Graham Hill (Norman Graham Hill; 1929-1975) speeding around a bend towards the viewer in his red and gold Lotus 49 Formula One racing car with the STP logo on the car and in the bottom left corner. STP (originally Scientifically Treated Petroleum) was an American motor oil company founded in 1954; now owned by Energizer Holdings (since 2018). The Lotus 49 F1 racing car was designed by Colin Chapman and Maurice Philippe for the 1967 F1 season, winning two Drivers' Championships with Graham Hill in 1968 and Jochen Rindt in 1970; Team Lotus was the sister company of the British automotive company Lotus Cars Limited (founded 1948) that manufactures sports cars and racing cars.
