Advertising Poster The Electric Flag Avalon Ballroom. Original vintage music advertising poster for a concert by The Electric Flag at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco in 1968. The event was organised by Family Dog Productions and the artwork is by Victor Moscoso featuring a middle finger being shown to an eagle sitting on top of a thunder cloud. The Avalon Ballroom was a music venue in the Polk Gulch neighborhood of San Francisco, California. The space operated from 1966 to 1969, at the height of the counterculture movement.
