Propaganda Poster Apollo Soyuz First International Space Mission 1975. Original vintage Soviet propaganda poster celebrating the historic Apollo Soyuz Mission in July 1975 - featuring a great design depicting the docking of the two spacecraft within a red and blue circle with the white text on the curves above a swirling blue shaded background, the rest of the text below. The Apollo-Soyuz Test Project marked the end of the Space Race and the first joint US-Soviet space flight that saw the docking of an American Apollo Command Service Module with the Soviet Soyuz 19 from 17-19 July crewed by five USSR cosmonauts / American astronauts launching on 15 July and landing on 21 July (Soyuz) and 24 July (Apollo) - Thomas Patten Stafford, Vance DeVoe Brand, Donald Kent Deke Slayton, Alexey Leonov and Valeri Kubasov.
