Propaganda Poster Apollo Soyuz First International Space Mission 1975. Original vintage Soviet propaganda poster celebrating the historic Apollo Soyuz Mission in July 1975 - featuring a great design depicting the docking of the two spacecraft within a red and blue circle with the white text on the curves above a swirling blue shaded background, the rest of the text below. The Apollo-Soyuz Test Project marked the end of the Space Race and the first joint US-Soviet space flight that saw the docking of an American Apollo Command Service Module with the Soviet Soyuz 19 from 17-19 July crewed by five USSR cosmonauts / American astronauts launching on 15 July and landing on 21 July (Soyuz) and 24 July (Apollo) - Thomas Patten Stafford, Vance DeVoe Brand, Donald Kent Deke Slayton, Alexey Leonov and Valeri Kubasov. Good condition, restored tears, restored creasing, restored folds, restored paper losses, backed on linen. Country of issue: Russia, designer: A. Sokolov, size (cm): 104x80, year of printing: 1975.
