Advertising Poster Leningrad WWII Battlefront Army Artist Exhibition Academy Of Arts. Rare original vintage advertising poster for the 3rd Art Exhibition by the Leningrad Front Artists at the Academy of Arts, featuring a bold design of a paint brush alongside a bayonet gun set over a red and green background. Printed by the Government Publishing House Iskusstvo commissioned by the political department of the Leningrad Front. In June 1945, the Third Exhibition of Artists of the Leningrad Front was opened in the halls of the All-Russian Academy of Arts. Most of its participants were graduates of the Academy, its diploma students, postgraduate students, students, and students of the secondary art school. Many of them volunteered for the Red Army in the first days of the war and now reported to the Academy on their creative work. Print edition of this poster is only 500 copies.
