Original vintage Dutch propaganda poster published to promote the E55 event held in Rotterdam from 18 May to 3 1955. Fantastic mid-century modern design combining colourful geometric shapes and an image of a young child jumping to catch a ball with the text reading: Manifestation of Dutch Energy 1955 Energy: people and the universe. The E55 National Energy Event celebrated 10 years of the rebuilding of Rotterdam after World War Two and after the 1953 flood disaster under the theme of "the reconstruction of the destroyed city and the desire to overcome difficulties" with companies taking the opportunity to display and promote new products and innovations including television and media, aerospace and mining.
