Travel Poster Le Tourisme Panhard Levassor Belle Epoque French Automobile Redon. Original antique travel poster - Le Tourisme - featuring a stunning early 20th century painting by French artist Georges Redon (1869-1943) depicting a lady in a fur coat and fashionable hat tied around her head with a scarf, reading a road sign with a driver looking at a map behind her, a man with a moustache and another passenger seated at the back of the classic car in front of autumn trees in the woods around the crossroads. The poster was issued by Panhard and Levassor car company. Panhard was a French motor vehicle manufacturer that began as one of the first makers of automobiles. Horizontal. Good condition, creasing, restored tears, staining, backed on linen. Country of issue: France, designer: Georges Redon, size (cm): 54x70, year of printing: 1905.
