Original vintage travel poster for India The Wonderful Land featuring a colourful design of historical heritage sites and iconic Indian landmarks including the Qutb Minar minaret victory tower (completed 1220) in Delhi, the Taj Mahal (built 1632-53) in Agra, and the Gateway of India in Bombay (now Mumbai; built to commemorate King George V's visit to India in 1911) with the bold lettering against the black background above and on the black banner below. Published by and for the Government of India. Produced by the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity for the Department of Tourism. Printed by Messrs Glasgow Printing Co Pte Ltd Howrah.
