Advertising Poster Berlin International Film Festival 1963. Original vintage advertising poster for the XIII Internationale Film Festspiele Berlin International Film Festival held from 21 June to 2 July 1963 featuring a dynamic and colourful illustration depicting the flag of Berlin with the city's black bear emblem on a white background between the two red stripes shining out of a golden globe of the earth from Berlin on one side with a movie film strip showing the flags of the participating countries including Germany, USA, Italy, UK, France, India, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, Brazil, Austria and Mexico shining out from the other side, the yellow and blue text running diagonally above and below against the dark background. The highest prize award of the festival in 1963 - the Golden Bear - was awarded ex aequo to the Italian film Il diavolo directed by Gian Luigi Polidoro and the Japanese film Bushido zankoku monogatari directed by Tadashi Imai. Good condition, creasing, tears, pinholes, staining, paper losses on corners. Country of issue: Germany, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 84x60, year of printing: 1963.
