Original vintage advertising poster for Paris Mint / La Monnaie de Paris, featuring a fun and colourful image by the notable French graphic artist and poster designer, Raymond Savignac (1907-2002), depicting a gentleman and a lady with golden coins for heads set over a green background, with Museum of Coins and Medals, galery, exhibition, and workshop opening hours below. Founded in AD 864 by King Charles the Bald with the Edict of Pistres, the Monnaie de Paris is a government-owned institution responsible for producing France's coins. It is the oldest continuously running minting institution and one of the oldest extant companies in the world. Good condition, creasing, staining, bumps on edges.
