Original antique music hall advertising poster for The Original Jolly Dutch Girl May Moore-Duprez, featuring an image of a smiling lady in a traditional Dutch dress and clogs, drawing a girl next to a windmill. Miss May Moore Duprez, born Minnie May Harris in St Louis in 1885, was a distinguished vaudeville and music hall performer who found success in both Britain and the United States. Renowned for her Jolly Dutch Girl act, she was married to Bertram Cecil Grant and passed away in 1946. Printed by David Allen & Sons Ltd. Large size. Fair condition, repaired tears, paper losses, folds, staining, printing errors, some restored paper losses, backed on linen. Country of issue: UK, designer: J.P.Seaborn, size (cm): 214x102, year of printing: 1910s.
