Travel Poster Set Warwick Folkestone Lake District Kent. Set of five original vintage travel advertising poster promoting various destinations in Great Britain. 1. Lord Leycester�s Hospital, Warwick, England, depicting an old building with the number 1571 on it, text below the image reads � Robert Dudley was the sort of adventurer that some women find irresistible; Queen Elizabeth I found him irresistible, and he became Earl of Leicester, with a nice place in the country called Kenilworth Castle. As such, he founded I 1571 Lord Leycester�s Hospital for �poor and impotent persons as shall hereafter be maimed or hurt in the wars�. The hospital was given a home to wounded soldiers ever since.
