Original antique advertising poster Matinee Au Profit Des Artistes Russes Residant En France / Morning for the benefit of Russian artists residing in France, on 14 May at Gaveau Room, featuring an illustration by Dmitry Stelletsky (1875-1947) of a woodcut-style image of three men in decorated and patterned clothing, seen writing on parchment, holding a scroll, and small carved statue, with a group of people in the background, the stylised lettering on either side presents - speech by Honorary President Mr Auguste Rodin, with the assistance of Mr and Mrs Bartet, Gabrielle Gills, Vera Janacopulos, Felia Litvine, Mr & Mrs Casadesus, Sacha Guitry, De Max, Andre Hekking, Rousseliere, Ricardo Vines. Printed by I. Lapina, Imp Edit, Paris. Good condition, folds, creasing, repaired tears, minor staining, backed on old linen, linen folded and glued over poster edges.
