Travel Poster LMS Gleneagles Turnberry Scotland Hotel. Original vintage travel poster for London Midland & Scottish Railway LMS Hotel Services - Easter and Spring Holidays at Gleneagles and Turnberry Hotels - Special Early Spring Tariff in force. The poster features simplistic design of blue and red lettering set over light background with a blue frame. LMS was a British railway company established in 1923 until it's nationalisation in 1948 when it became a part of the state-owned British Railways, during the operating time it became largest transport organisation, providing transportation and catering services and acquiring a chain of hotels throughout the United Kingdom. Turnberry hotel in Ayrshire Scotland is a five star hotel with golf courses and tennis courts, it was designed in 1906, was later requisitioned in 1939 for WWII needs, and has been owned by Donald Trump's Trump Organisation since 2014 under the name Trump Turnberry. Gleneagles hotel is located near Auchterarder Scotland, the construction of the hotel was commenced by the Caledonian Railway, and later absorbed by the LMS, converted into a hospital during World War Two, and currently owned by Ennismore.
