Advertising Poster Household Aga Kitchen Stove Waasia Devil. Original vintage advertising poster for a Waasia household oven stove produced by the Val Waas machine factory featuring a dynamic illustration of a surprised looking devil in red admiring a cooker with rays of yellow and white light surrounding it, set against a dark background with the logo above and bold stylised text in red and blue lettering below. Founded in 1864 as Valentin Waas in Geisenheim Germany the factory manufactured fruit and vegetable processing devices, wine presses and bottle storage; during WWI the company started to produce portable bread ovens and became one of the leading manufacturers by the 1950s but, with new conservation processes orders for their fruit and vegetable processors decreased and the company closed in 1964. Printed by Plakatfabrik Scheuer, Frankfurt. Good condition, small tears on edges, small paper losses on edges, minor staining. Country of issue: Germany, designer: ESR, size (cm): 49x34, year of printing: 1920s.
