Constructivist Magazine Rotov Ganf Projector #9 1929. Original vintage Soviet Magazine Projector ?9 (179), 3th of March 1929, 7th year. “Projector” is a weekly Soviet illustrated literary, artistic and satirical magazine. It was published in Moscow as a supplement to the Pravda newspaper in 1923-1935. At that time, the only multicolour magazine in the USSR. In the early 1930s, the magazine ran into difficulties due to paper shortages. The cover features the illustration by K. Rotov “The red ghost enters all corners of the globe” showing a large red figure and the people around it. Inside there are also satirical illustrations by Y. Ganf, K. Eliseev, K. Rotov. The volume includes articles on the global Bolshevik fast (on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Communist International), on the tenth anniversary of the Comintern, ten Years of the Italian Communist Party, the path of the proletarian to higher education (article), on the working communist women, an alliance of Italian fascism with the Vatican, a poem Girl of the Krasno-Presnensky district, communist women in Baku and the rejection of the burkha. There are photographs of groups of communists, leaders of communist parties, such as Andre Marty, Matyas Rakosi, Gramsci, Terracini, scenes from the schools, work of Komsomol members. Paperback, 32 pages. Poor condition, loose cover, loose pages, scuffed margins, traces of pen drawings, staining, browning.
