Travel Poster Art Deco German Railway Deutsche Reichsbahn Engelhard . Original vintage German railway company train travel poster - Germany - Your travel destination! / Deutschland - Euer Reiseziel! designed by Julius Ussy Engelhard (1883-1964), the German painter, graphic designer, and illustrator, depicting an elegant woman with a bouquet of yellow flowers standing in front of a steam train, encouraging tourism to Germany. Published by Reichsbahnzentrale fur den Deutschen Reiseverkehr (RDV), a company founded by the Deutsche Reichsbahn to promote tourism by rail. Poor condition, staining, minor creasing, paper skimming, side margins trimmed, backed on board. Country of issue: Germany, designer: Julius Ussy Engelhard , size (cm): 100x60, year of printing: 1920s.
