Modernist Poster General Dynamics Nucleodynamics Nitsche. Original vintage General Dynamics poster promoting Atoms for Peace featuring a colourful DNA design for molecular research by the illustrator, typographer and graphic designer Erik Nitsche (1908-1998) known as the Rubik's Cube design depicting blocks of colour with a photograph of two scientists wearing masks and text above in Japanese, one of six designs used by General Dynamics for the first international Atomic Energy Conference in Geneva held by the United Nations UN - Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy - in 1955. Large size. Good condition, restored tears in margin and restored creases in margin, some staining, backed on linen. Country of issue: Switzerland, designer: Erik Nitsche, size (cm): 128x91, year of printing: 1954.
